It is dry-hopped with Falconer's Flight giving it great aromatics and nice hop flavor. Low on the malt flavor and big on the hop character, this is a great beer for drinking all day long. Additions of blackberry, raspberry, and boysenberry give this beer an amazing bright purple color and vibrant fruit flavor. Heavily soured with lactobacillus and finished with Saison yeast, this beer is juicy, refreshing, and very tart. Slowly sip and savor 18-e as you are cozied up next to the fire this Winter. With a nice, malty aroma, deep amber color, and rich, full-bodied flavor, this is the perfect cold-weather brew. It usually only comes around once per year, so make sure you give it a try before it’s gone!ġ8-e, one of our first brews, is named after the craft beer competition category it fits perfectly in, Belgian Dark Strong Ale.
